December Reset: Embrace God’s Plan for Your Strong Finish!

ree

Picture this: you and I are sitting across from each other, steaming cups of coffee in hand. The room smells like cinnamon and vanilla, and we’re cozied up in a little corner, talking about life, faith, and finishing strong.

Friend, I want you to know something: you’ve made it this far, and that alone is worth celebrating. Maybe this year hasn’t been what you hoped it would be. Maybe it’s been full of twists, turns, and moments where you wondered if you’d ever catch your breath. But here’s what I need you to hear: you’re still here.

That means God’s not done with you. You still have a purpose, a calling, and a race to run. Let’s finish this year together—not in our own strength but with Jesus leading the way.

A Year of Challenges Doesn’t Define You

Did you experience a crushed dream this year? Or maybe you procrastinated because fear snuck in and whispered lies to your heart. I’ve been there. But let me remind you of this powerful truth: God hasn’t given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Pick that dream back up! Dust it off and give it back to God. Even if all you do this month is make a plan, that’s progress. Baby steps are still steps, and they lead you closer to what He’s calling you to do.

Forgive, Heal, and Move Forward

If this year brought broken relationships or hurtful moments, take time to forgive. Reach out to that person, have the conversation, and let peace take root in your heart. God calls us to be peacemakers, and there’s freedom in letting go of grudges and trusting Him to heal what’s been broken.

Don’t focus on the losses. Fix your eyes on Jesus and let the Holy Spirit guide your heart this December. As I shared in my recent blog about healing, Jesus told me in a dream to “keep playing.” Those words were His gentle but powerful reminder not to give up. And I want to pass them on to you.

Get Back Up and Keep Going

If your fitness journey didn’t go as planned, it’s not too late. Get up, dust yourself off, and start again. Maybe you’ve been stuck in a cycle of procrastination or defeat. Whatever it is, don’t let this year end with unfinished business weighing you down.

Even in the face of setbacks, God is still working. Romans 8:28 reminds us that He works all things together for good for those who love Him. That means He can take every loss, every delay, and every mistake and use it to build something beautiful.

Finish 2024 with Jesus

To finish this year strong, you need Jesus at the center. Spend time in His Word, pour your heart out in prayer, and allow Him to fill the empty spaces with His peace and direction. Let this month be a time of feasting on His presence.

As we step into the final days of 2024, I want you to remember this: the Lord is cheering you on. He’s calling you to “keep playing,” keep moving forward, and trust that He will see you through. You don’t have to have everything figured out—just take the next step in faith.

You’ve Got This!

Kingdom Sisters and Brothers, finish this year strong. Make the most of this month, not by striving in your own strength, but by leaning into His. The best is yet to come, and I can’t wait to see how God will move in your life.

Let’s end 2024 with purpose, peace, and Jesus leading the way.
