Surrender At The Foot Of Mount Worthy!

Imagine this: You’ve just stepped out of the Worthy Café, heart full and soul lighter. You spent the last hour in a cozy corner with friends, pouring out your heart over steaming cups of coffee. Vulnerable moments were shared, and tears rolled freely. But oh, the laughter—it was like sunshine breaking through clouds, leaving you feeling warm and joyful. You laid it all out on the table—the fears, the dreams, the hurts—and it felt so good. It wasn’t just a conversation; it was a release.
As you say your goodbyes and head out, a lingering sense of peace wraps around you like a favorite red Fall sweater. You climb into your car, sit there for a moment with a smile on your face, and feel like a mountain of bricks—has been lifted from your shoulders.
Empowered and free, you whisper a heartfelt “Thank You” to God. Maybe you even put on some worship music, letting the melody carry your gratitude as you drive home.

On your way, something catches your eye—a beautiful, majestic mountain standing tall in the distance. It seems to call out to you, and you can’t resist. You pull over, step out, and take in its splendor. As you stand at the base of the mountain, you feel an overwhelming urge to run through the field before you. It’s a moment of pure joy and freedom. You’re reminded of that tough conversation at the café, and in this serene, sacred space, you realize: I’m ready to give this to God.
Lifting your eyes to the sky, you stretch out your arms and let your heart cry out, “God, I can’t do this anymore. I need You to shift me!” It’s not just a plea; it’s a surrender. It’s raw, real, and all in. In that moment, a radiant light washes over the mountain, illuminating everything around you. You’ve just surrendered your situation, your circumstance, your everything to God. And in doing so, you’ve invited Him to intervene in your life.

God, ever the gentleman, stands beside you, encouraging you to take that first step. Together, you begin the climb up Mount Worthy. It’s not just a mountain; it’s a journey—a journey of trust, faith, and transformation. With each step, you’re reminded that you’re not alone. Jesus is with you, guiding, strengthening, and cheering you on. You’ve entered the shift, and the journey has just begun.
Stay tuned for the third part of the Shift Worthy Experience, The Shift, coming this Wednesday 2/5/25. This is where transformation takes root and Kingdom confidence begins to flourish. Get ready—God’s not just shifting your circumstances; He’s shifting you. Always shifting to Jesus.
☕ BONUS Coffee Shop Chat with Your Kingdom Sister, Jessica! ☕

Hey, friend! Let’s chat over a virtual cup of coffee. Depending on where you are, surrender might feel like the hardest part of your journey. It’s that moment when you get comfortable being uncomfortable—letting go of that situation or circumstance and trusting God to work it out, even when you can’t see how.
That’s why I love the idea of the Worthy Café. Sometimes stepping out and doing something uncomfortable is a little easier with the encouragement of friends. They might not be able to take on the surrender for you, but their words can lift you up and remind you that you’re not alone.
Maybe you’re thinking, “Jessica, I don’t have those kinds of encouraging friends.” Yes, you do! You’ve got me and this ministry—we’re here, always cheering you on. And I truly believe God will provide spirit-filled, coffee-loving friends for you to do life with. Until then, hang out at the Worthy Blog Café for your daily dose of encouragement.
From my own experience, let me say this: surrender whatever it is to God. He knows best, even when it hurts. You might not understand why you have to let go, but that’s okay—He knows the outcome. Remember Romans 8:28:
“He works all things together for the good of those who love Him.”
It’s not worth holding on to the old when God is preparing something new for your life. Trust Him. Take His hand and start the climb. I promise, friend—it’s worth it. It may be hard now, but the view at the top is breathtaking.
I’m cheering you on every step of the way, Kingdom friend! Drop a comment below and share what you’re surrendering to God.
Let’s pray for each other—I’ll be praying for you too. 💕
Love,
Jessica 😊
