✨ If you haven’t already, check out Part 1: A Divine Appointment [https://www.shiftworthyministries.com/post/part-1-a-divine-appointment] to see how Jesus met the Samaritan woman right where she was. Today, we’re stepping into the moment that changed everything—when Jesus offers her living water.
What Are You Thirsty For?
John 4:7—
"Please give me a drink."
Did Jesus need water? No. He was offering Himself.
This reminds me of Matthew 6:21—
"Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."
Water was essential for the Samaritan woman. She needed it daily, just like we depend on things in our own lives. But Jesus was about to reveal a powerful truth: He alone is the true source of life.

What Are You Relying On?
We all reach for things that we think will satisfy us. Maybe it’s a dream we’re chasing, a relationship we’re holding onto, or a goal we believe will finally make us feel whole.
💡 Have you ever had to surrender something to Jesus?
Maybe it felt like loss at first, but true transformation happens in surrender. Jesus doesn’t just ask us to give something up—He fills us with something far greater.
Jesus tells her in John 4:13-14—
"Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life."
🔥 The things of this world will always leave us longing for more.
That job, that relationship, that success—it will never be enough. But when Jesus gives you His living water? It doesn’t just quench your thirst—it overflows. It transforms you from the inside out.
The Samaritan woman responds in verse 15,
"Please, sir, give me this water!"
But she was still thinking practically. She wanted relief from her daily struggle of fetching water. But Jesus was offering her something eternal.

Reflection Questions:
