Part 3: Leaving the Jar Behind!

ree

Hey Kingdom Sisters & Brothers,

☕ Imagine we’re back at the Worthy Blog Café, coffee in hand, hearts open, ready for the final part of our journey with the Samaritan woman. You’ve made it here, and I hope you’ve been feeling Jesus stirring something inside you.

In Part 1, we saw how Jesus had to go through Samaria—on a divine love assignment just for her.

In Part 2, we unpacked living water and how Jesus offers us true fulfillment that the world never can.

But today? Today is the shift-worthy moment. The moment that changes everything. Grab your journal, because this is where you leave the old behind and step into Kingdom Confidence.

Jesus Knows You & Still Chooses You

John 4:16"

"Go and get your husband."

The woman hesitates.

"I don’t have a husband,"

 she replies.

And Jesus, knowing everything about her, responds:

"You're right! You don't have a husband—for you have had five husbands, and you aren’t even married to the man you’re living with now." ( John 4:17-18)

💛 Jesus knew her deepest wounds and sins—yet He still pursued her.

Just like He knows your heart. Every struggle. Every mistake. Every hidden fear. And He still chooses you.

Leaving the Jar Behind

John 4:28"

The woman left her jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone."

Pause. She left her jar.

Her jar—the very thing she carried every day. The thing she depended on for survival. Her treasure.

But when she met Jesus? She let it go.

Because she was transformed.

She didn’t just walk away from her past—she ran forward in freedom. And what did she do next?

🔥 She started a revival!

When you truly encounter Jesus, you can’t keep it to yourself. His love overflows, and you just have to share it.

What’s Your Jar?

💡 If you’re feeling ashamed, unseen, or unworthy, hear this: Jesus sees you.

He will go out of His way to meet you, just like He did for the Samaritan woman. He knows exactly how to reach your heart.

So, friend, this is your moment. Your shift step.

➡️ Surrender your treasure to Jesus.➡️ Take the shift step up the mountain with Him.➡️ Worship as you climb.

And when you reach Mount Worthy, you’ll release that jar, cry tears of joy, and step over the edge—ready to start a revival.

The Samaritan woman was Shift Worthy—and so are YOU. 💛✨

Reflection Questions:

  • What is your "jar"—something you need to leave behind to fully embrace Jesus?

  • How can you share what Jesus has done in your life with others?

  • What’s one step you can take today to walk in Kingdom Confidence like the Samaritan woman?
